Data Cleansing can help you keep the data quality of your customers as high as possible, to maximise the return on investment from any marketing campaigns using that data and ensure that your data is accurate and up-to-date.

We have a 4 step plan to help you cleanse your data, and if you are in need of any assistance then someone from our team of account managers can be in touch to guide you through the process.

Step 1

Prepare your data

You need to extract your data from your system to a file. We accept many formats but a csv file is perhaps the most popular.

If you want us to automate the process then please discuss with your account manager.

Tips on extracting your data. Good formats you can use are:

  • CSV, Excel, Access, Tab Delimited, Fixed field sizes
  • They can be compressed
  • Watch out for multiple sheets in your workbook
  • Do not use password protected Excel documents
  • Put an Identifier column at the beginning of each record to help you later on

It is best practice that you only send us data fields that we need to process. Do not send additional data that is not relevant and could be seen as sensitive.

Step 2

Upload your data for audit

Click on Dashboard -> Cleansing -> Submit a file

Review your free Data Quality Audit

The Data Quality Audit will tell you all about the various services we can perform to enhance your data. 

Your Account Manager is the best person to help answer any questions that you may have about the results.

Purchase your results

You can now choose to purchase the elements of data cleansing that make most sense to your situation.
